Ferguson Jenkins was an All-Star pitcher for the Phillies, Cubs, Rangers, and the Red Sox, best known for his incredible accuracy and changing speeds. During his 19 year Major League career he appeared in three All-Star Games, won twenty or more games in seven seasons, and was named the 1971 National League Cy Young Award winner. Jenkins compiled impressive statistics during his career including 284 wins, 3,192 strikeouts, 267 complete games, and a 3.34 lifetime ERA. He led the league in wins twice, complete games four times, and had a streak of six consecutive seasons winning twenty or more games.
