Reggie Jackson

Right fielder Reggie Jackson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1993. He played twenty-one seasons for various teams – Kansas City/Oakland Athletics, Baltimore Orioles, New York Yankees and California Angels. He was dubbed Mr. October because of his clutch hitting in the post-season with the Athletics and the Yankees. They retired his number in 1993 and 2004. Reggie Jackson is still outspoken and charismatic. He once called himself “the straw that stirs the drink”. He tried his hand in the entertainment industry, appearing in several movies and television programs. He is currently a special advisor to the New York Yankees.
